Buleleng Regency Government through Social Service, Distributes 3000 PPKM Rice Packages


 In accelerating the distribution of PPKM rice assistance from the Indonesian Ministry of Social Affairs, Buleleng Regency received 3000 rice aid packages. As the leading sector in the distribution of PPKM rice packages, the Buleleng Regency Social Service distributes rice packages to all villages through sub-districts in Buleleng Regency. This was stated directly by the Head of the Social Service, Putu Karimaman Putra when met in his office, Monday (26/7).

Furthermore, Kadis Karimaman said that the distribution of 3000 rice packages per 5 kg package was aimed at people who had not received any assistance at all.

"This assistance is given to people who have not received any assistance at all, either regular social assistance, PKH, BLTD, including others," he said.

Furthermore, Kadis Kariaman said that the distribution of the rice packages had been distributed to all sub-districts in Buleleng Regency and would later be distributed directly by the sub-district to each village/Kelurahan.

In addition, he explained that of the 3000 packages provided, it would be adjusted to 148 villages/Kelurahan, so that each village received an average of 20 packages determined from the number of residents of the village/Kelurahan itself. "This is a proposal from the head of the village head office so that later they will not be jealous at the time of distribution," he explained.

As for the conditions determined by the recipient of the assistance at the time of distribution, the recipient is photographed according to his NIK, KK, and address known to the head of the village/head of the village.

With the synergy to all parties in distributing this rice package, Karimaman hopes to ease the burden on the community related to the Covid-19 pandemic situation, while following up on the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs (Inmendagri) Number 24 of 2021 concerning the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities (PPKM) level 4 and level 3 Corona Virus Disease 2019 for the Java and Bali regions, and according to the Governor of Bali's SE No. 12 of 2021, the Buleleng Regency Government implements PPKM level 4 which aims to prevent the trend of spikes in Covid-19 cases from increasing. This was stated by Ketut Suwarmawan, S.STP, M.M as the Coordinator for the Data and Information Division of the Buleleng Regency Covid-19 Handling Task Force (Satgas) through a press release on Monday, (26/7).

Furthermore, Suwarmawan explained that Buleleng Regency would conduct PPKM level 4 in order to follow up on the Circular (SE) of the Governor of Bali regarding the Enforcement of Restrictions on Community Activities Level 4 Coronavirus Disease 2019 in the New Era of Life Order.

Furthermore, Suwarmawan said that the public should understand and comply with the rules related to PPKM level 4 until next August 2, because this rule was made to protect the public to suppress the surge in Covid-19 cases due to mobility and crowds. He did not forget to remind the public to always apply the Covid-19 prevention health protocols.

In addition, Suwarmawan said, today the Buleleng Regency Government through the Buleleng Regency Social Service also provided food social assistance in the form of 3,000 rice packages to the people of Buleleng.

"The distribution of 3,000 rice packages targets those who have not received any assistance at all in 148 villages / Kelurahan in Buleleng and later the sub-district will directly give it to each village and Kelurahan according to the proposal from the Perbekel and Lurah," he said.

Meanwhile, regarding the latest Covid-19 developments, Suwarmawan said that today there was an increase in the number of new cures as many as 102 people consisting of 14 people from Banjar District, 32 people from Buleleng District, 9 people from Gerokgak District, 1 person from Kubuaddan District, 33 people from Sub-District Sawan, 6 people from Seririt Subdistrict, 4 people from Sukasada District, and 3 people from Tejakula District.

While the new confirmation figures, today there was a decrease of 41 people consisting of 1 person from Banjar District, 19 people from Buleleng District, 1 person from Busungbiu District, 3 people from Gerokgak District, 1 person from Kubuaddan District, 8 people from Sawan District, 3 people from Seririt District, and 5 people from Sukasada District. There were 6 people who died today.

Cumulatively, confirmed cases in Buleleng Regency were 6,303 people with details of 5,167 recovering, 266 people dying, 864 people being treated in Buleleng, and 6 being treated outside Buleleng.
