20 Hidden Features of Google Search
Google hides many features in its search engine. So if you're lazy this weekend, let's try to find hidden features in Google Search.
1. Type: Askew
This will skew the search results.
2. Type: Bletchley Park
If you are familiar with Bletchley Park in England, you will know that the area has quite a history. Now a tourist attraction, it was once the secret home of World War II codebreakers. Google honors this historic building by "decoding" Bletchley Park in the knowledge pane to the right of search results.
3. Type: HTML Blink
Or you can type "or "blink tag". Instantly some words in the search results will flash.
4. Type: Breathing Exercise
Sometimes we all need some time to catch our breath. If you search for "Breathing Exercise" on Google, a one-minute workout will appear at the top. Click the Play button to get started.
5. Type Conway's Game of Life
In 1970, John Horton Conway, a British mathematician, developed Game of Life. This is a game without players, where you just sit and watch cells live, die, and multiply.
To play this game, simply type "Conway's Game of Life" in the Google search bar, then it appears on the right to see how all life began.
6. Type: Fidget Spinner
Feeling anxious? You can use a fidget spinner to calm down. If you don't have the object with you, try typing "Spinner" or "Fidget Spinner" into a Google search. The fidget spinner will appear in the top pane of the search results. Just click "Play" to play it.

7. Type: Flip a Coin
Need to flip a coin but don't have any coins with you, calm down... type "flip a coin" into the Google search bar.
8. Type: Fun Facts
Want to know random things that can increase your knowledge, type "Fun Facts" in the Google search field.
9. Type: Google in 1998
Google was founded on September 4, 1998. If you want to see how it started then type in the search bar "Google in 1998"
10. Type: Metronome
Forget to bring Metronome, calm Google provides a digital version with the same sound. Type "Metronome", once it appears you can adjust it from 40 to 218 BPM
11 Type: Pac Man
Just search for "Pac Man" in Google Search, then click "Play" in the top panel of search results. A pop-up will appear, asking you to start playing.
12. When Play Snake
Miss the Snake game on old Nokia phones? Now type "Play Snake" followed by pressing the "Play" button.
13. Type: Solitaire
To play, type "Solitaire" in Google Search, then click "Play" in the top panel of search results. Choose a difficulty level and start playing!
14. Type Sonic
In 1991, Sega Genesis released Sonic the Hedgehog. Green Hill Zone is the first level in Sonic. When you search for "Green Hill Zone" on Google, Sonic appears in the right pane and seems to be waiting for you.
If you click on it, Sonic jumps. And if you do it 25 times, Sonic becomes Super Sonic.
15. Type: Super Mario Bros
Super Mario Bros. is a classic game released in 1985. Players hit blocks to get coins or mushrooms from them.
When you type "Super Mario Bros." into Google Search, blocks will appear in the right pane. Click to trigger the coin receiving sound effect. If you click the block 100 times, you will hear a one-up sound.
16. Type: Tic-Tac-Toe
Another Google hidden game is tic-tac-toe. When you search for "tic-tac-toe" in Google Search, a 3 x 3 board will appear in the top panel of results. You can set the difficulty level of the game by clicking the drop-down menu in the upper left corner.
17. Type: Webdriver Torso
Webdriver Torso is an automated YouTube account created by Google on March 7, 2013, frequently posting videos showing simple slides accompanied by beeps, to test the website's performance.
Well if you type "Webdriver Torso" in the search bar, the Google logo will be displayed as a moving block.
18. Type: Timer
Need a timer? If you type "timer" in Google Search, it will appear in the top panel of search results. By default, the timer is set to five minutes, but this can be adjusted. You can switch the timer to a stopwatch by clicking the "Stopwatch" tab.
19. Type: What Sound Does a Dog Make?
When you type "What Sound Does a Dog Make??" in Google Search, the "Animal Song" panel will appear at the top of the search results.
Click the Loudspeaker icon and the sound will be played for you. You can replace the "dog" with almost any animal.
20. Type: Wizard of Oz
When you type "Wizard of When you type "Wizard of Oz" in Google Search, a pair of ruby sandals appear in the right-hand panel. If you click on it, you'll hear Dorothy say, "There's no place like home." The page will spin like a tornado, and the color of the page will change to black and white.
When the tornado icon is pressed again, the house will appear, then hear the sound effect, the page will rotate again, and the color will be as before.
