Telemedicine Service for Isoman Patients Officially Launched

After a discourse a few days ago, the Indonesian Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) in collaboration with the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) has officially launched telemedicine services for patients in self-isolation (Isoman) and centralized isolation (Isoter). This was revealed by the Coordinator of the Data and Information Sector of the Buleleng Regency Covid-19 Handling Task Force (Satgas) Ketut Suwarmawan through a press release on Tuesday (10/8)

Furthermore, Suwarmawan said that through telemedicine in Buleleng Regency as a pilot project, doctors from IDI Kab. Buleleng and the Faculty of Medicine, Ganesha University of Education.

In addition to health consultations through telemedicine, his party will also provide health education to Isoman and Isoter patients virtually through video conference. The program is planned to be held twice a week.

Meanwhile, regarding the development of handling Covid-19 confirmation cases in Buleleng Regency, Suwarmawan said that today there were 194 new confirmations consisting of 19 people from Banjar District, 68 people from Buleleng District, 8 people from Busungbiu District, 8 people from Gerokgak District, and 9 people from Kubuaddan District. , Sawan District 24 people, Seririt District 18 people, Sukasada District 29 people, and Tejakula District 11 people. 4 people died.

Furthermore, Suwarmawan said that a number of villages targeted for the second dose of vaccination today include Banyuasri, Banjar Tegal, Liligundi, Banyuning, Penarukan, Kajanan, Banjar Jawa, Kaliuntu, Kampung Anyar, and Banjar Bali. While the villages include the villages of Anturan, Nagasepeha, Reasongker and Jinengdalem.

Steps to move quickly and on target are gradually being carried out by the Social Service of Buleleng Regency in distributing various sources of social assistance in the form of basic necessities. This time, sources of assistance from structural officials and state civil apparatus (ASN) within the Buleleng Regency Government have been channeled to target people with disabilities.

The Head of Buleleng Social Service, I Putu Karimaman Putra, S.Sos.MM confirmed that today, Tuesday (10/8), Buleleng residents, especially people with disabilities, have received basic food assistance from the Buleleng ASN. "We handed over 50 food packages to the Indonesian Blind Association (Pertuni) Buleleng Regency. They are really directly affected by this pandemic, especially with disabilities," said Kadis Karimaman when confirmed via telephone.

He added that the distribution of basic food assistance was always guided by integrated data social welfare (DTKS), both program recipients and non-program recipients. Kadis Karimaman explained that in distributing basic necessities to people with disabilities, the institutions first recorded data to find out the amount of the disability quota.

In addition, assistance for people with disabilities who have not been touched by basic food assistance will continue to be provided, including the elderly with disabilities. “Those (persons with disabilities, ed), who have received the program have received cash assistance that goes directly to their respective accounts. Even so, we continue to distribute basic food assistance because this is an incidental element in a pandemic situation," he concluded.
