 Super Air Jet Lands First at Bali's Ngurah Rai Airport

The Super Air Jet airline first flew from Jakarta to Bali, Thursday (11/18/2021). The new flights are expected to help increase tourist visits to Bali.

Super Air Jet landed at Ngurah Rai Airport at 18:39 WITA. Upon arrival, the airline using the Airbus A320 aircraft was greeted with a water cannon salute as a sign of the inaugural flight. In the last two months, there was an increase in the number of passengers by 71% compared to the same period in 2020. Meanwhile, the number of aircraft operating also grew by 4%.

He also asked the center to revise the quarantine rules from three days to just one day. The reason is that foreign tourists who come to Bali are required to have complete vaccines and carry out PCR-based swab tests.

According to Pemayun, Bali will implement strict health protocols (prokes) to prevent the transmission of COVID-19. "We're not going to play around with prokes," he said.
