 Source-Based Waste Management, PAS Regent Inaugurates 3R Sanker Bersehati TPS

The people of Pejarakan Village will now have no more difficulty managing their waste. This is because the Reduce Reuse Recycle (TPS 3R) Waste Management Site "Sanker Bersehati" has been inaugurated in Pejarakan Village, Gerokgak District by the Regent of Buleleng Putu Agus Suradnyana, ST, which was marked by the signing of the inscription, Monday (6/9).

In his speech, the Regent who is familiarly called PAS said that the waste problem is a problem that must be addressed by all levels of society. The development and growth of an area can be seen from the waste management parameters and the results that have added value in terms of 3R (Reduce Reuse Recycle).

“In my opinion, the name TPS-3R Sanker Bersehati has a deep philosophy, namely clean, cool, beautiful, orderly, and beautiful yard. Therefore, I ask the Perbekel, Customary Bendesa, and Village Apparatus that the abbreviation for Bersehati please be properly broken down later, so that the word "Bersehati" can really provide benefits regarding the existence of this 3R TPS," he said.

Furthermore, the Regent of PAS said that he would like to thank friends from Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) who care about waste and care about the environment for their contributions. "We hope that later we can guard and help the community as well as connect if later the 3R TPS in Pejarakan Village can be good to get rewards which of course can be used to build this village in other sectors," hoped PAS.

Meanwhile, Pejarakan Village Perbekel Made Astawa explained, Pejarakan Village was divided into 9 Banjar Dinas and 9 Banjar Adat. Where it is a future target for waste management which we will manage properly.

Made Astawa added, we have been trying to form the 3R TPS since 2013, and it has only been implemented this year. "We are trying to appeal to the Regent through the Buleleng Regency Environment Service so that in 2021 we can get this program," he said.

'Traditional Market Target, Buleleng BPBD Distributes 2,000 Masks

Buleleng Regency, Putu Ariadi Pribadi, and his team targeted two traditional markets in the Singaraja City area to distribute 2,000 masks to traders and market visitors, Monday (6/9).

Met while distributing masks at Singaraja Anyar Market, Kalak Ariadi Pribadi assessed that the distribution of masks carried out today received a very good response from traders and market visitors. This is evident from the active community in responding to the distribution of masks. “The response of traders and buyers here, (Pasar Anyar, ed), is very good. The masks we brought ran out very quickly until we went back and forth several times to make masks to the car,” he explained.

Talking about the number of masks distributed, Kalak Ariadi Pribadi admitted that BPBD Buleleng received 50,000 pcs of masks from the Central National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) and will be distributed to a number of traditional markets in Buleleng. "We have scheduled the distribution of masks to all traditional markets in Buleleng. We also target places that are considered to invite a lot of crowds. Today we distribute it in two markets, namely Pasar Anyar and Pasar Buleleng," said Kalak Ariadne.

He added that from his observations after distributing masks, Kalak Ariadi assessed that traders and buyers had been very disciplined in wearing masks. The provision of a place for washing hands is also available to complete with soap, so he believes that the health protocols in the market are implemented properly.

Gradually Increase, Healing Percentage Reaches 92.54 Percent

The handling of confirmed COVID-19 patients in Buleleng has gradually improved, starting from providing centralized isolation for OTG-GR and intensive care in hospitals for moderate and severe symptoms. As a result, the number of patients who have been declared cured has increased dramatically. This result is a form of commitment from the Buleleng Regency Government with all parties in suppressing the spread of the virus and passing the pandemic.

Buleleng, Ketut Suwarmawan, S.STP., MM. said that it was recorded that until today, Sunday (5/9), the percentage of patient recovery had reached 92.54 percent. “As of today, the recovery of patients has reached more than 92 percent or an increase of 31 patients recovered. This indicates that the performance of the Task Force in handling Covid-19 patients is quite good, especially the number of new confirmed cases is also below the number of recovered patients, "said Ketut Suwarmawan in his office.

Regarding the increase, Ketut Suwarmawan, who is also the Head of the Communications and Information Technology Office of Buleleng Regency, again invited the entire community to always be disciplined in implementing health protocols in their daily activities. This is important to do to suppress the spread of the virus, as a form of mutual cooperation with the government against COVID-19. and as a strategic effort to get through the pandemic. "The Task Force really hopes that this mutual cooperation effort against Covid-19 will be carried out consistently. The Buleleng Regency Government focuses on handling confirmed cases and patient care, then the community is disciplined in implementing health protocols," he said

Meanwhile, regarding the development of other data, the Head of the District Office, Suwarmawan, said that there were 24 people included in the new confirmation case, where the distribution was still dominated by 8 people from Buleleng District. Meanwhile, there were 8 deaths, one of them was 25 years old from Penarukan Village. The male patient was admitted to the hospital with a history of comorbid pulmonary TB and B24.

Based on the progress of handling Covid-19 today, the remaining 260 patients are undergoing treatment.
