Appreciation Proud, Buleleng Regency Government Prepares to Receive Oxygen Generator for Buleleng Hospital

The Buleleng Regency Government (Pemkab) received a very proud appreciation in the health sector, especially the handling of patients, both confirmed Covid-19 and general patients. The form of appreciation was given directly by the Indonesian Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) in the form of an oxygen generator machine. This was conveyed by the President Director of Buleleng Hospital, dr. Putu Arya Nugraha, Sp.PD when confirmed via telephone on Sunday (12/9).

President Director Arya explained that Buleleng is the only district in Bali that receives oxygen generators from the Ministry of Health, including on a national scale. The aid for the high-pressure oxygen-producing machine will be received at the end of September or early October. "We are building a building for the oxygen generator. The target is to finish the building by the end of this month or early October at the latest. After that, we will receive the oxygen generator engine from the Ministry of Health, "explained President Director Arya.

He added that the machine assistance was a grant from several foreign countries channeled through the Indonesian Ministry of Health in the Oxygen for Indonesia program.

Asked about the engine's capabilities, President Director Arya said that within a day the oxygen generator can produce as many as 60 oxygen tubes with a weight of 6 cubic tubes per tube. “This machine will process the air into high-pressure oxygen. Technically, 60 oxygen cylinders can be produced every day,” he explained.

President Director Arya admitted that he was no longer worried when the generator engine started operating. The reason is that in the future, there will no longer be a shortage of oxygen due to the explosion of the second wave of Covid-19 cases some time ago. "Now we are focusing on building a building where the oxygen generator engine is located, related to human resources and machine maintenance, we will coordinate regularly with the Ministry of Health or the Oxygen for Indonesia technical team," he said.

PAS Regent Optimistic in 2021 CPNS Selection to Produce Quality Civil Servants

The Selection of Basic Competencies for Candidates for Civil Servants (SKD CPNS) 2021 for the Buleleng Regency has officially started. Through this selection, the civil servants who have a chance to pass are those with the best quality.

This was conveyed by the Regent of Buleleng Putu Agus Suradnyana while reviewing the implementation of the 2021 First Day SKD CPNS at the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of Bali Province on Saturday (11/9).

Furthermore, the Regent who is familiarly called PAS was pleased with the CPNS selection system using the Computer Assisted Test (CAT) in recent years because it was carried out transparently.

"Of course this is an extraordinary step to get quality ASN," he said.

For this reason, he is optimistic that the selected CPNS will have good quality. According to him, this can be seen from the CPNS in the previous few years having qualified competencies.

"Have we seen it now? In Singaraja, we have civil servants whose results with this CAT system are all of the high quality," explained PAS.

Meanwhile in the same place, the Head of the Agency for Personnel and Human Resources Development I Gede Wisnawa revealed that the implementation of the SKD CPNS 2021 for Buleleng Regency on the first day went smoothly without any significant problems.

However, he said there were 101 participants out of a total of 600 people who were not present today.

Wisnawa said that participants who did not attend were automatically disqualified because they did not follow the SKD according to the schedule.

In addition, 3 people were not present due to being confirmed as Covid-19. They were asked not to attend to avoid the potential spread of Covid-19.

"Those who are not present due to Covid-19 confirmation will of course be rescheduled later by BKN, after September 13, there will be a schedule," he said.

Prevent Jockeys, SKD CPNS 2021 Buleleng Equipped with Face Recognition

There is something new in the holding of the CPNS test in 2021. Every participant who takes part in the Basic Competency Selection (SKD) today by the committee is asked to take a photo in front of a webcam before taking the test.

It was revealed that the participants underwent a facial recognition process. This step was taken to ensure that the participants who came were following the identities that were deposited with the organizing committee.

"Now we have this webcam to detect faces, to anticipate the jockeys, here it is clear that the photos and their faces will be checked again," explained the Head of the Buleleng Regency Personnel and Human Resources Agency (BKPSDM) I Gede Wisnawa met while supervising the implementation of the SKD. at the Human Resources Development Agency (BPSDM) of Bali Province in Denpasar on Saturday (11/9).

Regarding the technicalities, Wisnawa said that the participants who went through facial recognition would later be matched between faces and photos that were previously deposited at the time of registration.

If there is no match between the face and the photo, the participant who comes will be Consideredjockey. After further processing to avoid detection errors, the participant is confirmed to be disqualified.

The implementation, said Wisnawa, was carried out by his party as the CPNS 2021 selection committee for Buleleng Regency, while the system was facilitated by the Regional Office X of the State Civil Service Agency (Kanreg X BKN) Denpasar.

Meanwhile, Ketut Buana as the Head of Personnel Information Division of Kanreg X BKN Denpasar explained that this face recognition system is a step to increase accuracy when verifying participants.

Buana continued, the face recognition runs automatically by the system. So, when taking photos of incoming participants, the system itself will match the photos submitted by previous participants.

"So, for example, if a discrepancy is found, the system will automatically reject it," he explained.

However, there were some obstacles from the participant's side due to significant changes in the face compared to the submitted photos. Buana said it happened because participants sent old photos or changes in appearance such as hairstyles and make-up.

In addition, excessive editing of photos also resulted in misdetection of participants' faces. Fortunately, adjustments can be made by the committee to overcome this.

"For example, because the photo is so glowing, the committee prepares all kinds of powder to make it as similar as possible to the photo that was edited earlier," he joked.

Through this face recognition system, it is hoped that participants who plan to use the services of a jockey will cancel their intentions, to create a transparent and accountable selection process.
