Bali Plans to Trial to Open International Tourism

The encouragement and hope of the Balinese people for the government to immediately open the door for tourist arrivals is getting stronger.

Even at the urging of the community, the Head of the Bali Province Tourism Office (Dispar), I Putu Astawa, admitted that he had heard.

Then what is the government's response regarding the hopes and encouragement of citizens? Mentioned related to this, the government also admitted that it is in line or agrees with the expectations of the residents. We have done everything and have to try it out. Domestic tourists already, our hope and the aspirations of the community, can open a trial for foreign tourists, "explained Kadispar Bali Putu Astawa, Sunday (5/9) yesterday.

It's just that related to the trial, Astawa added, his party hopes that the trial will not be carried out on a large scale.

"But don't do it on a large scale," said Astawa.

He added that the Bali government's plan to conduct trials for opening international tourism was because Bali had made various efforts and preparations.

Among them, in addition to 100 percent vaccination for tourism workers, the government has also implemented CHSE (Cleanliness, Health, Safety, and Environment) and health protocols that are carried out very strictly.

"It's the same with the arrival of tourists from domestic. Moreover, the condition is that when they come they have brought a Covid-19-free letter and have been checked in layers, "said Astawa.

According to Astawa, regarding the trial plan for opening tourism, the most important thing that the government notes are how tourists who come to Bali do not carry the virus.

"Including when they return from Bali, they are also expected not to bring the virus back to their country," he continued.

For this reason, it is still related to the plan to open international tourists, later, all tourists who come must comply with the green zone concept.

"Because there is an arrangement and already has the CHSE certification. If herd immunity has been achieved in Bali, all new places can be visited, "said Astawa.
