Leaked Government Documents Regarding the New Generation of Avanza-Xenia
The new generation of Toyota Avanza and Daihatsu Xenia is expected to launch soon this year. This rumor is reinforced by data on the Selling Value of Motor Vehicles (NJKB) in the Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 40 of 2021 regarding changes to NJKB.
The document shows the NJKB of all cars that can be sold domestically, including Toyota and Daihatsu. In these two brands, a new code appears that allegedly represents the new generation of Avanza and Xenia. The new codes are W100RE and W101RE which are assumed to be new models of Avanza, this code change is believed to be due to the use of a new platform, namely Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNGA). The Avanza model codes that are currently being sold are F653RM and F654RM. Then the NJKB listed in the code is Rp. 157 million - Rp. 227 million, this is an increase from the current model of Rp. 151 million - Rp. 188 million.
It should be understood that NJKB is not the price offered to consumers. NJKB is a benchmark price for the imposition of various taxes such as BBN, PPn, to PPnBM.
The increase in NJKB on the new model has sparked suspicions that the new generation Avanza will be more expensive than before.
The increase in NJKB is also seen in the W100RG and W101RG codes which are thought to represent Xenia. The current Xenia models with codes F653RV and F654RV have an NJKB value of Rp. 144 million to Rp. 170 million, while the NJKB code to the new code is Rp. 135 million to Rp. 172 million.
Apart from NJKB other information that can be obtained is the use of a new transmission, namely CVT, for both models. Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM) has stated last May that it will produce CVT in Indonesia this year.
The CVT has been used on the Toyota Raize and Daihatsu Rocky. The same application on the new generation Avanza-Xenia is not expected to be difficult because Raize and Rocky also use the DNGA platform.
Then based on the code, the new Avanza model is also believed to have a safety feature package from Toyota Safety Sense (TSS). Previously used TSS in Raize, consisting of six Airbags, Pedal Misoperation Control, and TSS BSM (blind-spot monitor) RCTA (Rear Traffic Control Alert).
Meanwhile, the code also shows that the Xenia will likely have a variant with the A.S.A. (Advanced Safety Assist) feature. This technology is already available in Rocky, which includes Pre Collision Brake and Lane Departure Warning.
So far, Toyota and Daihatsu have refused to comment on the rumors. However, based on information from Toyota and Daihatsu salespeople, the new Avanza-Xenia will be released between November and December this year and initial orders are already open to consumers.
Estimated Price of the Cheapest and Most Expensive All-New BR-V
The Honda All-New BR-V has been launched but not yet with a definite price.

The second is for the first vehicle, PKB aka Motor Vehicle Tax, which is 2 percent of the DP PKB or Basic Imposition of PKB. The DPP for the All-New BR-V is NJKB X the weight of which is 1.05.
