Confusion facing the pandemic

Confusion facing the pandemic, happening all over the world, this is due to news on social media and mass media which is increasingly uncertain and tends to corner the government, the government is also confused about determining the rules regarding health protocols, and what people protest is the imposition of fines for those who do not wear masks, this is according to the community is a big fine. 100 thousand is big for the community, on the other hand there are many people who are apathetic about the existence of the pandemic, many in other areas who are late in closing stalls or shops are subject to fines, everything is wrong on the other hand, people need income and income to continue living, on the other hand thinking about the increasing transmission of covid. widespread, and more and more victims, on the other hand there were many disasters at the beginning of this year that hit our country, so concentration was divided to handle and help our brothers and sisters who were affected by disasters, many people also doubted that this covid existed, due to various factors, the main one being the lack of information in the community, especially in rural areas, which causes people not to know what kind of treatment, who gets hit, etc., at the beginning of the new year in Bali, the tourism community and those who have been on the ship are starting to get confused with the uncertain situation because they have not worked for 8-9 months and of course those who have savings are starting to run low because they don't work, the whole country the world is experiencing this uncertain situation, not to mention hoax news made by irresponsible people, which makes the situation more tense and makes the situation even more confused, the author's suggestion is that this covid 19 pandemic has been developing for almost 1 year, so this covid it has spread in the community because of that we continue to obey health protocols, but people can still do activities and earn income as usual, without any fines, etc., so that people are calmer because the author sees and observes that people are now obeying health protocols, only one or two people are not wearing it. special masks in urban areas, but if in villages many still do not comply with the prokes, we approach this persuasively by carrying out a family approach and continuous socialization so that rural communities feel touched, and of course they can understand, the author still remembers joining the old mother in socializing the program family planning and i They are visited one by one from home, the impact is continuously felt until now, Indonesian people in general are still innocent and innocent, sometimes they are easily influenced, so we come with calls and positive influences for sure they will be able to accept it.

Adita Irawati, a member of the Public Communications Team for the Covid-19 Handling and National Economic Recovery Committee, said that there needs to be a special approach to people who believe that the Covid-19 pandemic is part of a conspiracy.

Adita Irawati considers it important to have an approach taken by the government so that the public is open-minded and willing to accept the government's recommendation to implement health protocols.

According to Adita, the SMS distribution strategy recommended for health protocols or the delivery of information through mass media is not effective for these community groups.

According to Adita, there are some people who always see whatever the government does as something wrong.

He suspects that this is partly due to a number of political momentum in the past which has accumulated into a perception so that they always act as opposition.

This resulted in them not believing anything the government said, including in the context of the pandemic.

Not to mention, said Adita, that there are several figures and patrons who have the same perception as them so that it reinforces and seems to confirm what their beliefs are true facts.

He said that the community groups were quite a challenge.

This was conveyed by Adita in a virtual discussion entitled "Communication in Combating Covid-19 in the New Normal Era. Can it Change People's Behavior?" held by the Faculty of Da'wah and Communication Sciences UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta, Wednesday (5/8/2020).

"Maybe there needs to be a special approach to find other patrons who can soften their current thinking," said Adita.

However, Adita said the government is also making other efforts along with this special approach.

This effort is focused on community groups who can still open their minds so that they can change their minds to follow government recommendations.

"Meanwhile, it is better for us to focus on parties whose minds can still be opened and those who we hope can influence their community to move together. So this is a challenge," said Adita.
