Last October, Honda announced its long-term plans for electric vehicles. Five concepts called e: N were introduced to start the manufacturer's journey in developing their electrification ecosystem. Three concept cars still look raw, namely thee: N Coupe in the form of a two-door coupe, the e-N SUV, and the four-door e: N GT. All are included in the plan until 2027. Two other concepts, e: NS1 and e: NP1 is ready for production. As promised, the Bamboo Curtain Country is the first market to sell them. Produced in a separate factory as a result of a joint venture between GAC Honda and Dongfeng Honda. At the same time, it will be a base for export to other countries. The model that walked first was e: NS1. Marketing started on April 26. Followed by e: NP1 next month. If you look at the shape of the e: NS1 it is very similar to the All-New Honda HR-V which just launched in Indonesia. But this is a pure electric car and the design details show it. It is also the first Honda electric car to be paved in China. Honda said, the basis of its development using the Monozukuri philosophy. That is the art of making something based on originality, passion for electrification technology, and high intelligence. The hallmark of electric cars can be seen from the plain grille. No need for air cavities for intakes allowing horizontal blades like the conventional HR-V to be replaced. As well as the main identity if this is not a car that drinks fuel oil. But it's not just a differentiator, behind it is a charging port for charging the battery. The rear remains like the regular HR-V. It's just that without the H logo but in the form of writing. Honda has not opened all the detailed specifications. What is certain is that the: N Architecture F platform is the result of special development. Although the EV-specific construction, still prioritizes Honda's distinctive sporty driving experience. Reports say the base trim of the: NS1 will be powered by an electric motor of 182 PS and 310 Nm of torque. The energy source comes from a 53.6 kWh lithium-ion battery capable of producing a cruising range of up to 420 km (based on CLTC). Meanwhile, the 510 km long-range variant is available. The battery has a capacity of 68.8 kWh and the motor produces 204 PS of power.

Then it will present e: N OS, an integrated system containing Honda Sensing, Honda Connect, and Digital Cockpit. Honda Sensing 360 is sure to be available with a wider range. Not only at the front and rear, but omnidirectional or 360 degrees around the vehicle with an additional 5 radar units at each corner. During the moment of introduction of thee: NS1 and e: NP1, Honda launched an online store. All purchasing processes from ordering to delivery are only through direct online communication. Consumers are also led to feeling a new experience in buying a car. Even so, the physical showroom is not forgotten. All New Honda HR-V Uncle Sam's Version Built Using the Civic Platform

The latest generation of Honda HR-V in the United States appears very bold. That is, they give a much different design from models like in Asia. Look at the expressive face of the crossover. It features a new grille like a semicircle. The hood is longer and the roofline is slimmer. The car is based on the 11th generation Civic platform and is only sold there. Perhaps, the Indonesian people do not necessarily like such a design. The All New HR-V version of Uncle Sam is claimed to have a longer and wider wheelbase. But still sporty and personal. The newest generation for the market is compact in size, with the space and utility for a weekend adventure. But arguably agile when maneuvering on city streets. The new model is scheduled to launch this summer. No technical spec data has been disclosed yet. But Honda promises to provide the All New HR-V USDM with a more responsive engine and new independent rear suspension. So that it gives a more confident handling personality, smooth and fun when driving. “The car is gaining aspirational qualities outside of its segment. The All New Honda HR-V 2023 is ready to be welcomed by customers and is an important product as the spearhead of the Honda brand. This new model will further its position as a segment leader for young people, first-time buyers and multicultural customers,” said Michael Kistemaker, Assistant Vice President of Automobile Sales of American Honda Motor Co., Inc.

Honda has not disclosed detailed information. But since it's based on the Civic, you can guess at the various embedded engine options. For example, a naturally aspirated 2 liter i-VTEC four-cylinder heart, producing 158 hp and 187 Nm of torque. Continue with the 1.5 liter VTEC Turbo engine of 180 Hp & 240 Nm. Then the hybrid e:HEV model should also be available. The car uses an electric motor with a power of 181 hp and 315 Nm plus a direct-injected 2 liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine. Inspired by the sensation of a new experience. The HR-V USDM's design, says Honda, is ambitious with a strong sense of adventure.
